Scouting is sourcing. Valuation is candidate intelligence. A draft, a trade, an A&R signing, a venue booking — all acquisition channels bound by real rules: caps, CBAs, recoupment waterfalls, routing calendars. We build the primitives, not another dashboard.
Two tracks, kept separate on purpose. A private track validates the primitives inside a real NHL front office — proprietary data, real decisions, not a public artifact, not for sale. A public track builds the same primitives against open data (NBA cap sheets first, a music A&R / venue-booking slice next) so the mechanism itself can be checked by anyone, not taken on faith.
Status: building. No leaderboard, no "AI-powered" hand-wave — a CLI you can point at public data and a fixture you can falsify, same as everything else in this lab. If it isn't verifiable, it isn't done.
